About us

We are Col and Dee, and we design and create silver jewellery from our home studio in Sydney. As you can see, we love getting to try out many of the wonderful cafes here in Sydney - we're right into our coffee!

So, why did we start making jewellery? Well, we made ceramics as a business for a decade. But then we had a complete life change and went and lived on a pacific island doing voluntary work in the community for 15 years. When we came back, we fancied exploring another creative art — and jewellery-making stole our hearts. We have so enjoyed learning this new craft and are excited to continue developing our skills. We love making quality pieces and hope they will bring joy to you too.

About Davy & Mac

At Davy & Mac we are all about designing and handcrafting a small range of jewellery that works well together. The range includes foundation pieces as well as our signature style pieces, that can be layered or worn on their own. Col is following his passion to use tools and fire to make beautifully polished silver pieces! And Dee is honing into the design and creation side of the bead work, as well as all the other creative aspects of our small business, like website, photography, packaging, and marketing, etc.

Quality is also a big deal to us. That’s why we use materials like 925 sterling silver, and buy our materials from trusted Aussie suppliers, to ensure each piece lasts.

Why "Davy & Mac”? Those were the last names of our wonderful nanas, who lived through the Art Deco era that is one of the things that inspires our jewellery design.
